Section 1.3 Every Odd Problem.

Why do I love all the doodles I do in my math book? And when I open my sketchbook I can’t do a thing?

Maybe it’s because I am concentrating so hard on my math, that when I take a break to draw, I’m not thinking about making the doodle look like the picture in my head because there isn’t one.

Or maybe it’s murphy’s law.

Let’s Put Some Text on the Book.

Remember when I covered my textbooks before school? I said that I would post again after I decorated them. So can you guess what this post is about? textbook decor (2)

Yep, I labeled my textbooks, and my notebooks. Much to my dismay, I had to return my chemistry book because there wasn’t enough for everyone, goodbye fancy cover. Actually it’s folded up on my desk so I still get to visit every time I do homework. Which you will hear  more about soon.

And the spines say the class name too, but half of them are in my locker(which I finally got open, turns out I was putting the combo in wrong…) and I’m afraid the spines aren’t special enough to photograph.

CollegeCollage

I finished a collage a couple of days ago. Because it’s junior year for me, the focus is college, visits, brochures, research, and decisions. This is made from the dozens of college ads I’ve got. I call them ads because they only offer good advice if it pertains to their school.

There is a lot of decisions to make, I’ve got to start narrowing down the options.

So many squares!

Has anyone else ever done this? Fill up a sheet of graph paper with patterns? I used to do this for hours, because it takes hours. But once it’s done, I’m so glad that I did it. This square pattern was fun because every time I finish a new “level” it looked better and better.

And here is the final results. It has some varying squares because I made some mistakes. But I like it this way.

Here’s Mary’s. It’s amazing how just the different colors changes it so much.

I didn’t get a full picture of hers. But here’s a finished square.
